SILVERDALE — The 2017 Whaling Days Parade, which started at 10 a.m. July 29, was a huge hit, with hundreds of people spectating along the parade route in the hot summer sun.
These photos are an insider’s perspective of the parade. Spectators aren’t the only ones greeted with great sights of community; people who walked in the parade had the chance to see families, friends and animals of the community turn out in droves to support them.
