GUILLEMOT COVE WILDFLOWER WALK: Wendy McClure of the Washington Native Plant Society returns to lead another of her popular wildflower walks at scenic Guillemot Cove Preserve. The walk will be approximately four hours, leading through the woods to the coast for lunch. On the return, the walk will visit the mysterious stump house. 61ST ARMED FORCES FESTIVAL: Themed “Legacy of Freedom” this year, the largest and longest-running Armed Forces Day parade in the United States will be in downtown Bremerton May 16.
