Fairy Tale Dental restores more than just smiles – it rebuilds confidence and quality of life.
With its new TruBridge technology, this patent-pending full-arch dental restoration transforms the lives of those facing significant tooth loss or damage.
Understanding TruBridge
TruBridge is a fixed, zirconia bridge permanently placed to offer patients the sensation of having strong, healthy teeth. Unlike removable dentures, TruBridge provides a stable and natural-feeling solution for those who have lost multiple teeth due to various circumstances.
Who benefits from TruBridge?
This innovative restoration is particularly suited for individuals who have experienced:
- Traumatic injuries – Accidents, sports injuries or other unforeseen events leading to broken or lost teeth.
- Medical treatments – Cancer patients who have undergone radiation therapy that adversely affected their dental health.
- Severe dental decay – Cases where extensive decay has rendered most teeth non-restorable.
“These people can be so transformed in every way. With broken teeth, people are embarrassed, ashamed, feel like some kind of second-class citizen, don’t get jobs,” says Dr. Helena Soomer-Lincoln, dentist at Fairy Tale Dental. “When we give people their smiles back, their confidence returns in a big way.”
The TruBridge procedure
The TruBridge restoration process is meticulously designed to preserve the patient’s natural bone and tissue structures:
1. Digital imaging: An intraoral scan and a 3D CBCT X-ray capture the current state of the patient’s teeth, roots and gums.
2. Designing the restoration: Using digital design tools, a new set of teeth is crafted to mimic the original teeth’s shape and size.
3. Tooth extraction: Non-restorable teeth are carefully removed using a water laser, fully preserving the surrounding bone.
4. Implant placement: Dental implants are placed into the root sockets at the same angulation as the original tooth roots.
5. Final restoration: The TruBridge is attached to the implants using a proprietary method, resulting in a natural-looking and functional set of teeth.
“Before TruBridge, the bone was cut back and flattened, everything more clunky, and not natural anymore. Now I am proud and happy that I have created something that is natural, without cutting away bone and tissues,” says Dr. Soomer-Lincoln.
Recognizing that millions of people in the U.S. and around the world require teeth repair, Dr. Soomer-Lincoln has developed an online training program to teach other dental professionals this method. “I see so many people who could benefit that I need to train other dentists in this method so that we can deliver TruBridge to more patients all over the U.S. and beyond,” she adds.
Patient testimonials
Patients who have undergone the TruBridge procedure report significant improvements in their lives, including:
- Increased confidence – Restored smiles lead to enhanced self-esteem and social interactions.
