Is there a more perfect pairing than live music and good food?
In fact, if pressed to describe a perfect summer day, friends, family, live music and good food enjoyed by the water is probably as close to perfect as you can get!
Sunny Saunders, owner of Sunny Jack Events LLC, couldn’t agree more and that’s why she organized the inaugural Taste Of Kitsap – a community first she hopes will become an annual event.
On Friday, Aug. 4 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday Aug. 5 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., grab your favorite people and head down to the Bremerton Boardwalk for amazing local food and ‘Ladies who Rock,’ featuring live music performances featuring female musicians.
“We have over 20 food vendors attending, a beer garden hosted by Valhöll Brewing and The Loft in Poulsbo, and a phenomenal line-up of musicians,” Saunders says. “I strongly encourage event-goers to come hungry because there will be something for everyone, including smoothies, falafels, tacos, crepes, Thai and more!”

- Ukalicious: 11 a.m.
- Two for the Apocalypse: 12:15 p.m.

- Megan & Heidi: 4:45 p.m.
- Beat Frequency: 6:30 p.m. – Top 40 Dance Band
“I was inspired to start A Taste Of Kitsap because we really needed a food festival and I wanted to bring that to the area,” Saunders says. “I don’t believe there’s a better place to hold a festival like this than the beautiful Bremerton Boardwalk – it’s the perfect venue and is sure to make this a memorable event.”
