KEYPORT — Rear Adm. Dave Oliver will give a special presentation about his book, “Against the Tide: Rickover’s Leadership Principles and the Rise of the Nuclear Navy,” 1 p.m. June 25 at the Naval Undersea Museum, 1 Garnett Way, Keyport.

The presentation is hosted by the Naval Undersea Museum and the Pacific Northwest chapter of the Naval Submarine League.

The driving force behind America’s nuclear submarine Navy, Rickover revolutionized naval warfare while concurrently proving to be a wellspring of innovation that drove American technology in the latter half of the 20th century.
