Thank you for your thoughtfulness in honoring our WWII veterans. They are to be celebrated!

The scope and scale of World War II — and the hundreds of thousands who served and the millions who supported them — is truly beyond what most people today can even begin to comprehend. Sharing the stories of our surviving service members is a very good thing to do for them and for future generations. Again, thank you.

Your idea is particularly good as most of these brave men and women came home and returned to civilian life without parades or celebrations beyond their immediate family and neighbors. Your article will touch the hearts of many.
