They went klepto on the Wii
Two Kingston residents were arrested and booked into jail April 29 for outstanding warrants. Deputies arrested the two after they were reported as part of a group stealing Wii video games from Costco in Silverdale.
The 23-year-old woman allegedly put at least three Wii games and several DVDs in her oversized purse but put back the items after a friend warned her they were being watched.
She had an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended licence. Her bail was set at $2,500.
The 27-year-old man, also reported affiliated with the klepto-friendly group, had an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of dangerous weapons. His bail was set at $25,000.
Another woman, described as wearing a black-hooded jacket and sunglasses, took off with her purse full of video games after Costco employees became suspicious and tried to talk to her. It was reported she fled to Linens and Things via the Clear Creek Trail. Deputies didn’t find the woman but did locate her black hooded coat and purse, which contained nine Wii video games.
