Alleged East Bremerton bank robbery suspect identified

A suspect in an east Bremerton Bank of America robbery April 21 has been identified as Scott Richard Morgan of Bremerton. A warrant was issued for Morgan, 29, Wednesday for second-degree robbery, according to a news release sent Friday.

Morgan is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with brown eyes.

The robbery occurred at about 10:30 a.m. at the East Bremerton branch, 1600 Riddell Road NE.

Kitsap Sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Scott Wilson said the office identified Morgan from tips from the public.

“We’re 100 percent positive it’s him,” he said.

Morgan has lived in South Kitsap and various parts of Bremerton, according to the release.
