Since its inception in 1916, American Humane’s Red Star Animal Emergency Services has responded to national and international disasters, rescuing thousands of animals as well as participated in many human rescues.

Companion Animal adoption groups from Kitsap, Pierce and King counties will have pets available for adoption at Saturday’s event and microchips also will be administered by Dr. Bill Larson of Peninsula Mobile Veterinary Clinic of Poulsbo. Microchips are $30.
