Five anti-nuclear weapons activists who broke into Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor in November 2009 were sentenced Monday for prison terms ranging from two to 15 months, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Lynne Greenwald of Tacoma, formerly from Bremerton, has a sentence of six months and 60 hours of community service.

Both Stephen Kelly of Oakland, Calif. and Susan Crane of Baltimore have a sentence of 15 months, said Emily Langlie, a spokeswoman for the office. Bill Bichsel of Tacoma has a sentence of three months with six months of home detention. Anne Montgomery of New York City has a sentence of two months and four months of home detention.

They were convicted of conspiracy, trespassing and destruction of government property by a federal jury in December. The group protesting nuclear weapons used bolt cutters to break through three chain link fences and entered the Main Limited Area of the complex.
