PORT ORCHARD — Applications are being accepted for the third annual South Kitsap Community Pride Scholarship award.

Doug Miller, owner and broker for South Kitsap Properties in Port Orchard, said the scholarship award is valued at $2,000. He said scholarship applications will require a written and video submission focusing on the student’s plan for making South Kitsap a better place.

The scholarship is open to all graduating South Kitsap School District seniors, including students at South Kitsap High School, Discovery Alternative High School and Explorer Academy.
