‘Battle for the Sound’

“Battle for the Sound,” a peewee hockey invitational, will take place today and Saturday at Bremerton Ice Center.

The 7th annual invite showcases peewee teams from around the U.S. and Canada, including Kitsap County Hockey Association’s Kitsap County Peewees. The event is a USA Hockey sanctioned event and there is no admission fee to watch the games.

In total, 15 teams in the 10 to 12-year-old age range will play and each team is guaranteed to play four games in order to compete in the championship game Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Games are scheduled to be played from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day.
