POULSBO — Bellringer doesn’t need much from Santa this year, because the community has been in an extremely giving mood lately.

By 11 a.m. Wednesday, the fund had collected another $4,314.01, which adds to the many successful days it has already enjoyed.

Donations as small as $3 and as large as $1,000 combined to push the fund ever closer to its $30,000 goal.

Mike Brooks, owner of Mike’s Car Wash in Poulsbo, is once again donating a portion of his proceeds during the remainder of the month to give the fund a boost.

Even with the much-appreciated generosity, Bellringer still has more to go before it reaches its $30,000 goal.

Donations to the fund can be dropped off at the Kitsap Bank branch in Poulsbo Village or the North Kitsap Herald office, 18887 Highway 305, Suite 700. Donations can also be mailed to the Poulsbo Noon Lions Bellringer Fund, P.O. Box 1244, Poulsbo, WA 98370. The help number of the fund is (360) 697-6087.
