POULSBO — Poulsbo City Councilwoman Linda Berry-Maraist previously announced that she planned to resign from her position sometime in 2015.
At the Dec. 10 City Council meeting, she affirmed exactly when that would be.
Berry-Maraist’s last meeting will be on Jan. 21, 2015.
By establishing that date, the city can now move forward with advertising for her replacement. The exiting councilwoman will not be involved in the selection of her replacement; rather, the City Council will.
Berry-Maraist’s successor will serve out the remainder of her term, which ends Dec. 31, 2015.
