The Central Kitsap Reporter will debut an entirely new look beginning on June 7.
The paper’s format is transitioning from a broadsheet layout to a new, tabloid size similar to its sister paper, the Kitsap Free Daily, making for a more reader-friendly paper.
Another major change coming to the CK Reporter is its conversion to a once-a-week-only paper. Beginning June 1, the CK Reporter will be published on Saturdays only versus Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Readers will find the new Saturday CK Reporter will have more pages than the current version and will contain a wealth of Central Kitsap news.
“We’re excited for the new changes to the CK Reporter,” said publisher Rob White. “We’re confident our readers will enjoy the new format as well as more community news.”
The CK Reporter is published by the Kitsap News Group, a division of Sound Publishing, whose other Kitsap County newspapers include the Bremerton Patriot, the Port Orchard Independent, the North Kitsap Herald, the Bainbridge Review, the monthly Kingston Community News, the Kitsap Free Daily and the U.S. Navy’s Northwest Navigator.
Sound Publishing is the largest publisher of community newspapers in the Pacific Northwest — including a total of 34 papers throughout the Puget Sound region.
