The bridge closed early morning July 1.
The bridge project replaces two culverts with a 240-foot bridge span across the Clear Creek estuary and expands the existing roadway to four lanes. The work increases vehicular capacity, improves safety for pedestrians and bicyclists with new 5-foot bike lanes and 6-foot walkways and helps restore the Clear Creek estuary to its natural state.
