Bremerton fire crews recovered the body of an adult male from the water near the Bremerton Marina at about 11:30 a.m. this morning.

According to police and fire scanner traffic, a wallet and a pair of shoes were found on the breakwater and the body was recovered near the main boating entrance of the marina, near the “Lone Sailor” statue and Washington State Ferry terminal. Crews transported the body to Evergreen Park where it was to be turned over to the coroner.
