POULSBO – Poulsbo Police arrested a 21-year-old Bremerton man suspected of stabbing his 48-year-old friend in the Poulsbo Wal-Mart parking lot Sunday night.

According to a police press release, police were called after two men got into an argument in the parking lot at 11:20 p.m. The dispute escalated and the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim several times in the torso with a “cutting implement,” according Asst. Police Chief Shawn Delaney.
The suspect then got into the victim’s Chevrolet Cavalier and attempted to leave the scene. He abandoned the car and was trying to flee on foot when he was arrested by police.
The suspect was booked into Kitsap County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon and first degree robbery, both felony charges. Bail was set at $100,000. The suspect was scheduled to appear in court Monday afternoon.
