Robert P. Stark, 27, of Bremerton is charged with first-degree criminal trespass.

On July 29, the owner of a vacant home for sale on Viking Way in Poulsbo called to report an unknown male in the house.

The reporting party heard water in the bathroom running, and saw clothing in a bedroom. She then saw a man lying on the floor in the dining room and called 9-1-1.

Officers identified Stark, who was intoxicated and said he was looking for a place to sleep, according to the report. It appeared the glass rear door had been forced open and damaged in the process.

Stark was booked into Kitsap County Jail on $5,000 bail.
