Bremerton man injured in two-car collision on Hood Canal Bridge

HOOD CANAL BRIDGE — A motorist was injured in a two-car collision on the Hood Canal Bridge, 10:44 a.m. April 3.

Washington State Patrol reported that David William Goffin, 63, of Bremerton was taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. His 2008 Chevrolet Aveo sedan was totaled.

Kaitlin Marie Cripplen, 21, of Port Angeles, and Goffin were driving east on the bridge when Goffin stopped for traffic. Cripplen, driving a 1995 Honda Odyssey sedan, was unable to slow in time and her vehicle struck Goffin’s.

Cripplen was cited for driving too fast for conditions, state patrol reported.
