A 30-year-old Bremerton man stole medical equipment from a hospital room where he had been receiving treatment at Harrison Medical Center Sept. 28.
The man stole a digital thermometer, blood pressure cuffs and a bed alarm pad with electric cords valued at about $850. He returned to the hospital at 1 p.m. for emergency room treatment and hospital staff said that he was being uncooperative. He was transported to the emergency room by South Kitsap Medics for a seizure.
The man told a police officer that he never stole anything and that “the hospital hates him.” He was arrested and booked into Kitsap County jail for second-degree theft. The report was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.
