The public is invited to attend the first board meeting of the year for the Bremerton School District. The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at the district’s administration building.
Board members will give reports, along with the superintendent, about happenings around the district. Several items will be discussed during first readings of new policies and updated procedures, including the evaluation of the new superintendent, use of school facilities, use of reasonable force and other topics.
A resolution for salary schedules for non-represented and exempt staff, which includes a 1 percent salary increase, will be voted on.
Public input is welcome during board meetings.
The meeting will be held in the district board room. The address is 134 Marion Avenue N. in Bremerton.
