Registered sex offender David J. L. Darby, 29, has registered with the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office to reside in the 1100 block of Pleasant Avenue in Bremerton. This reflects a change of address within the city.

Darby is not wanted by police and has served the sentence imposed on him by the courts. The Bremerton Police Department says the notification of his address change is not intended to increase fear. “It is our belief that an informed public is a safer public,” states the notification.

According to court documents, Darby was convicted in 2005 of rape of a child in the third degree and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes after sexually assaulting two juvenile females known to him.

Darby, is 6’1″ and 210 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
