The Bremerton Tree Committee will next meet on Thursday, Oct. 16.

The tree committee serves as an advisory committee to the city council and to city staff working to maintain, improve and protect the urban forest on city owned properties. The committee will share information with the public, promote proper tree care and will encourage participation in the development of Bremerton’s urban forest.

The group’s next meeting will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, in the mayor’s sixth floor conference room inside the Norm Dicks Government Center. The session is open to the public with an opportunity for comment.
