A 66-year-old Bremerton woman was injured after her car slid on an icy road and hit a tree near the intersection of Central Valley Road and State Route 303 Jan. 11.
The woman was traveling along Central Valley Road, on the on-ramp to SR 303 around 8:02 a.m. when her 2002 Subaru Legacy station wagon slid on ice, went off the road and struck a tree, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The woman was wearing a seatbelt, sustained an injury and was transported to Harrison Medical Center.
Vehicle damage was non-reportable and the Subaru was towed from the scene. Neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the crash.
No charges were filed.
