Bremerton woman leaves lewd lipstick-laden messages on the wrong person’s car

A 51-year-old Bremerton woman left trash — which included her name — and lipstick-inked messages on her former drug dealer’s car for the past few weeks, but was surprised to learn the car belonged to someone else.

A neighbor on the 700 block of Chester Avenue told Bremerton police Saturday he had video footage of a woman writing messages on the hood of a car in his apartment complex’s parking lot, according to reports.

On the car’s hood was written “see ya in court family going down” in red lipstick. On the windshield, the woman wrote, “see you soon” and drew “kiss lips.”

The car owner said it was the second time someone wrote on her car with lipstick. On Thursday the car owner told police trash and hospital paperwork had repeatedly been left on the car, some with crude messages written on them, according to an earlier report.

Police found the suspect’s name on the trash. When contacted, the suspect admitted to writing on the car, but said the car belonged to a former neighbor who had sold her pills once and with whom she carried on a brief relationship. The suspect said she wanted him to get treatment.

When police told her who the car belonged to, she acted surprised and said she did not know her former dealer had sold the car.

Police forwarded a report to prosecutors for review.
