For those thinking of using Kitsap Transit to head to Poulsbo’s Muriel Iverson William’s Waterfront Park to take in some Independence Day fireworks on July 3, you may want to check your routes.

On Wednesday, July 3, Kitsap Transit will bypass a section of Front Street in downtown Poulsbo from 3:00 p.m. to midnight due to heavy traffic for the fireworks show.

To help keep Routes 333–Silverdale/Bainbridge and 344­–Poulsbo Central on schedule, the section between Hostmark street and Sunset street will not be served.

Additionally, four stops on Front Street will be closed.
