CHRISTMAS CONCERT: First Lutheran Church of Poulsbo will present its annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Featured groups include the Cathedral Choir, Liberty Bells and more. A variety of songs will be performed and the audience will be invited to join in. There will be a freewill offering. HOLIDAY TREE TRIM: The Poulsbo Marine Science Center will host a holiday tree trim for the kids from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 14. Kids are invited to help trim the “tree of the sea.” Materials provided, no admission fee.

WOMEN’S CLUB: GFWC Kitsap Peninsula Women’s Club will host a meeting and dinner at 6 p.m. Dec. 18 at the China House, 3249 Perry Ave NE, Bremerton. KINGSTON CANDLELIGHT SERVICE: The North Peninsula Unity Center in Kingston will host its annual Christmas candlelight service at 5 p.m. on Dec. 21 with guest musician, Peter Spencer. POULSBO HISTORICAL SOCIETY: The Poulsbo Historical Society will not meet in December. The speaker for the Jan. 13, 2009 meeting will be Jerry Deeter from the Kitsap County Health District. Membership meetings are held at the Sons of Norway Hall at 9:30 a.m. every second Tuesday except during the months of August and December.
