PUGET SOUND ANGLERS: The Kingston Puget Sound Anglers chapter meeting will be at 7 p.m. May 21. Dan Stauffer from Ed’s Surplus will be speaking about the summer Chinook fishing the Puget Sound. OPEN HOUSE: Poulsbo Adventist School will present a spring program/open house at 6:30 p.m. May 21. The community is invited to tour the school and watch the students perform a play written by first-fourth grade teacher Susan Schilt. CAR WASH: The Suquamish Youth are hosting a car wash fundraiser and Indian taco sale to help sponsor cultural exchange programs. The event will be from noon to 5 p.m. May 23 at the Suquamish Longhouse Texaco on State Route 305.

A FAIRYTALE REVUE: Dance Ensemble Northwest and Liberty Bay Danceworks are presenting their spring performance “East of the Sun and West of the Moon, A Fairytale Revue” on May 30 and 31 at the North Kitsap Auditorium. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and children. Purchase them at Liberty Bay Books, Liberty Bay Danceworks or at the door. Performance is full of local choreographers and dancers; is suitable for all ages.

FAMILY DANCE: The Kingston Co-op Preschool Community Family Beach Boogie Dance will be from 6-8 p.m. May 31 at Kingston Middle School. Presale tickets are available at $5 per person, $20 for the whole family. Funds raised go to the preschool. Info: (360) 297-8840 or frogfer.comcast.com.

COMPOSTING CLASS: Learn the basics of home composting and turn yard and food waste into black gold for your garden from 10 a.m. to noon at the Stillwaters Environmental Center in Kingston May 31.
