Family Day at the Naval Undersea Museum: Kids can learn about the different kinds of Navy uniforms and make their own good conduct ribbons Saturday, Jan. 2 at family day at the Naval Undersea Museum at Naval Base Kitsap-Keyport. The heritage of the Navy uniform will be the topic, and kids from preschool age to 12 years old will learn about the uniforms, plus take part in activities such as making their own hats and a contest. NEW CHURCH FORMING: The first Science of Mind congregation in Kitsap County will begin services on Sunday, Jan 3 at 1 p.m. in Suquamish. Pre-session meeting with state lawmakers: State lawmakers from districts representing parts of Bremerton and Central Kitsap will be meeting with residents Jan. 5 in advance of the Legislative session.
