Jazz quartet performance at El Coral:

El Coral Mexican Restaurant will feature a live jazz quartet during the April Art Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. The quartet will feature Mark Lewis on saxaphone, John Stowell of Portland on guitar, Rick White on bass and Charles Gaines on drums. The evening will also be a birthday celebration in memory of Paul Moen, of Bremerton who arranged and played with Lionel Hampton’s band for 11 years. El Coral is located at 536 Fourth Street, Bremerton.

Manette History Club meeting:

The Manette History Club will meet at 1 p.m. April 6 in the Social Room of the Manette Community Church at E. 13th Street and Hayward Avenue. Ron Workman will read the story of “The Senn Family of Manette” written by Iris J. Senn Hoey Burch.

West Sound Cycling Club meeting:

West Sound Cycling Club will meet April 6 at the Silverdale Beach Hotel for a presentation by Wendell Crim. Crim’s presentation will include talking about training on the U.S. Olympic cycling team and Tour de France. He will also show his Schwinn Paramount track bike and an old road bike he converted to fixed gear. A buffet dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. with the program and meeting to follow at 7 p.m.
