OPEN HOUSE: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is holding an open house to the public for their new building from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 22. RUMMAGE SALE: St. Elizabeth Orthodox Mission Church is hosting a multi-family rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 21 and 22 in the Poulsbo Business Park at 20714 2A located on State HWY 305 between Little Valley and Bond Road. The annual sale will feature many items including furniture, household items, clothing and more.

KIDS FAIR: Zero Gravity and Cross Martial Arts Academy are sponsoring a free kids’ fair from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 30 at Zero Gravity Athletics, 15769 George Lane, Poulsbo. Donations will be accepted and will benefit Poulsbo’s Fishline Food Bank. Info: (360) 394-4496.

OPTIMISTS CLUB: The North Kitsap Optimists Club meets at 5:30 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of the month at the Poulsbo Inn.

MCS SUPPORT GROUP: The Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Support Group meets from 1-3 p.m. the last Monday of the month at the Poulsbo Library. Members suffer severe reactions to perfumes, cigarette smoke, car exhaust, dryer sheets, building materials, etc. At the meetings, members explore health-improving ideas, employment, housing, safe products and friendship.
