KITSAP QUILTERS: Kitsap Quilters will host “It’s Rainin’ Quilts” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at President’s Hall at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. PFLAG: The Kitsap chapter of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) and the Pride Foundation will host a special screening of the award-winning documentary, Inlaws & Outlaws at 7 p.m. today. The film, a collection of true stories about love and marriage, will be shown at the Kitsap Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 4418 Perry Ave., Bremerton. This is a free screening, however donations will be accepted. Light refreshments will be provided and the filmmaker will be attending.
35TH DEMS: The 35th Legislative District Democrats are hosting PCO training and a “Meet the Candidates” event beginning at 5 p.m. at the West Side Improvement Club, 4109 “E” St. in Bremerton. PCO Training is from 5-6 p.m. with a $20 spaghetti dinner from 6-7 p.m. and a “Meet the Candidates” forum at 7 p.m.

DEMENTIA SUPPORT: Ashley Gardens at Bremerton an Alzheimer’s and memory care community located 3231 Pine Road will host an Alzheimer’s and dementia support group at 7 p.m. The support group will be held at The Willows at 3201 Pine Road and hosted by Ashley Gardens of Bremerton life enrichment director Janet Presley. This group is open to the public.

MOAA: The Kitsap Chapter of the Military Officer’s Association of America will hold its monthly meeting at 11 a.m. Feb. 22 at the Elks Lodge, 4131 Pine Road NE, Bremerton. Guest speaker will be CDR Michael Greenwalt, senior chaplain at the Bremerton Naval Hospital. He will recount his experiences as a chaplain in Iraq, and dealing with stress at the hospital. Membership in MOAA is open to those who hold, or have ever held, a commission or warrant in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, NOAA, or their surviving spouses.
