Central Kitsap School Board to meet Wednesday

The CKSD school board will meet at 6:30 on Wednesday following a study session at 5:45 p.m. The study session will be an initial recommendation for the superintendent regarding the placement of sixth grade students.

The Central Kitsap School Board will meet to discuss various agenda items during its regularly scheduled board meeting on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a budget status report for March, an enrollment report and a capital projects report, among other items.

The meeting will be following a 5:45 p.m. study session regarding a recommendation to the superintendent regarding the placement of the sixth graders in the district. The decision process includes an initial committee recommendation, staff and community input and a final recommendation to the school board based on committee work.

Board members will meet at the Jenne-Wright Administration Center in Silverdale in the board room. The public is invited to attend.
