Jeannie Screws, who once held a seat as a West Sound Utility District No. 1 commissioner, will face incumbent Susan Way for Position 3 in the general election Nov. 3.
Way led the primary election vote among her four competitors last night (Aug. 4) in the primary election with 611 votes. Screws was closely behind, tallying 585 votes. Kevin P. Long, a retired West Sound Utility District employee, failed to reach the general election. He received 477 votes.
Angela Smith, who didn’t actively campaign for the Position 3 seat, received 158 votes.
The vote totals from Kitsap County Elections is unofficial as of Aug. 5.
