Charleston to celebrate Cinco De Mayo

For a few hours, this Saturday, fire trucks will block part of Callow Avenue and shut down traffic for the Cinco de Mayo street fair

The Charleston Business Association in West Bremerton is holding its third annual Cinco De Mayo celebration on Sixth Street and Callow Avenue,  Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For a few hours, this Saturday, fire trucks will block part of Callow Avenue and shut down traffic for the Cinco de Mayo street fair organized by the Charleston Business Association. Hispanic folklore dancers and Lucha Libre wrestlers will greet people while mariachi music is blasting from speakers into the street.

This family event will showcase two Lucha Libre wrestlers shows at noon and 3 p.m., live music by Alegres Del Norte and a special performances by the Flokloric Dancers at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

A special guest appearance by Kevin “Taskmaster” Sullivan, former WCW world tag team champion and legendary pro wrestler will be at the festival signing autographs and entertaining the crowds.

Charleston Business Association members invite you to the festivities celebrating this important Mexican holiday and acknowledging and honoring our large Hispanic community in Bremerton.
