As of this writing, we haven’t set the date for our next CPR and AED class, but we’ll have one in November. Check our web site at www.nkfr.org or give us a call at 360-297-3619 to get the date.

Check your Pulse

Look for the latest edition of “The Pulse,” the newsletter that we publish jointly with our neighbors at Poulsbo Fire Department, to arrive in mailboxes in mid- November. It will include updates on what we’ve done with the additional funds that voters approved for us in 2014, tips for avoiding the most common wintertime fires, and our useful emergency medical information cards.

Speaking of winter fires, avoid one of the more common causes by having a certified professional perform your annual chimney cleaning and inspection before you start using your fireplace or woodstove this season.
