The Fred Needham Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2669 is sponsoring a chili cook-off and auction from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Samples are $1 per person. The silent auction is 5-7 p.m. and the live auction begins at 7:30 p.m.

There are five categories: spicy, traditional, non-traditional, cornbread and the “People’s Choice.”

Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
