City Council Position 3 candidates forum Monday in Poulsbo Library

The Friends of Fred (Springsteel) election committee will sponsor a discussion of issues in the city election, Monday (today), 7-8:30 p.m., in the Poulsbo Library Community Room (downstairs). The evening will start with a debate or discussion between Fred Springsteel, write-in candidate for Council Position 3, and Gary Nystul, the on-ballot candidate. The public will be able to ask questions.

POULSBO — The Friends of Fred (Springsteel) election committee will sponsor a discussion of issues in the city election, Monday (today), 7-8:30 p.m., in the Poulsbo Library Community Room (downstairs).

The evening will start with a debate or discussion between Fred Springsteel, write-in candidate for Council Position 3, and Gary Nystul, the on-ballot candidate. The public will be able to ask questions.

Nystul said Thursday he didn’t know about the event and, as of that morning, couldn’t confirm that he would participate.

The candidates’ discussion will be followed by a public discussion of important issues central to Poulsbo’s future, including traffic patterns and Shoreline Master Program changes.
