CKSD seeks candidates to fill school board vacancy

SILVERDALE – Central Kitsap School District is accepting applications to fill the board seat that will soon be vacated by Christopher Stokke. The school board will appoint a new director to fill the seat through November.

SILVERDALE – Central Kitsap School District is accepting applications to fill the board seat that will soon be vacated by Christopher Stokke. The school board will appoint a new director to fill the seat through November.

A candidate must be a registered voter and a resident of Director Area 3. Geographical descriptions of director areas and other information are available at www.cksd.wednet.edu or by calling the Superintendent’s Office at 360-662-1615.

Interested candidates are asked to contact the Superintendent’s Office for application information.

Application materials are due by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18.

The school board will screen the candidates and conduct interviews with up to five individuals. Depending on the number of applicants, the board will appoint the new member during either the school board meeting on March 25 or the meeting on April 1.
