Sending a student to college? Learn more about the federal financial aid system during an upcoming event hosted at Central Kitsap High School.

Central Kitsap School District will hold a Financial Aid Information Night on Tuesday, Nov. 25. Families from all three district high schools are welcome to attend. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Central Kitsap High School Theater.

Kelly Forsberg, a financial aid administrator at Olympic College, will provide an informative explanation of the federal financial aid system. The program will cover the types of federal aid available and the application process.

Forsberg will also answer questions about various circumstances related to receiving federal aid. This is a particularly relevant evening for parents, but students are also invited.

Admission is free. Parking is limited and is available in the junior and senior parking lots only. Please consider carpooling.

For those who are not able to attend, Olympic High School will host another Financial Aid Information Night on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 6:30 p.m.
