POULSBO — Clinton Wayne Hooper passed away July 5 at his home in Poulsbo. He was 59.

He was born on May 21, 1954 in Grangeville, Idaho. He was the son of Bobbie and James Hornbeck and Boone Hooper.

He was a construction  worker, cowboy, hunter, guitar player and singer-songwriter.

He is survived by his fiancee of eight years, Trish Derum; father, James Horn-beck; daughters, Hannah Hooper, Shaina Hooper and Tamara Marquez; three grandchildren; brother, David Hornbeck; sisters, Karen Patrick and Cheryl Higginbotham; eight nieces and nephews; and 10 grandnieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life is scheduled Aug. 4, 5 p.m. at Raab Park in Poulsbo.
