PORT ORCHARD — The Kitsap County Board of Commissioners will hold several public hearings during its regular business meeting, which begins at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 25.
Public testimony will be taken at these hearings:
— Ordinance relating to Growth Management, amending the Countywide Planning Policies.
— Ordinance amending Title 7 to address recommendations of the Animal Control Citizens Advisory Council.
— Resolution establishing fees for cat and dog licensing and other animal control services.
— Ordinance adding Marijuana Regulations to the Kitsap County Code for the adoption of restrictions on the production, processing and retailing of recreational marijuana to comply with the passage of Initiative 502.
— Draft Gorst Watershed Characterization, Framework and Sub-Area Plan and associated Comprehensive Plan amendments and development regulations.
— Draft Non-Motorized Facility Plan and Associated Comprehensive Plan Amendments, a countywide trail plan to direct future planning, design, construction and maintenance of on- and off-road trails, routes, shared-use paths and prioritizing future public funding.
Adoption of the following Capital Facilities Plans:
— Public Works/Roads Division 6-Year Transportation Improvement Program, Jan. 1, 2014 through Dec. 31, 2019.
— Public Works/Roads Division Annual Road Construction Program for 2014.
— Public Works/Solid Waste Division 6-Year Capital Facilities Plan, Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 31, 2019.
— Public Works/Surface & Stormwater Management Capital Facilities Plan, Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 31, 2019.
— Public Works/Sewer Utility 6-Year Capital Facilities Plan, Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 31, 2019.
— Parks & Recreation Capital Facilities Plan Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 31, 2019.
The commission meets in the Commissioners’ Chambers, Kitsap County Administration Building, 619 Division St., Port Orchard.
