ART AND A SCAVENGER HUNT: Wednesday Watercolor, a group of artists from Kitsap County and as far away as Everett, will be at the Point No Point Light Station in Hansville from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, July 10, painting portraits of the Point No Point Lighthouse. A canopy will be set up near the lighthouse where artists will have their work available for purchase, with proceeds from sales that day donated to the Friends of Point No Point. The Friends of Point No Point Lighthouse also are hosting a scavenger hunt for children ages 3 and older from noon until 4 p.m. Stop by the tent and pick up a list of beach/light station items to find and receive a prize. POULSBOHEMIAN ARMCHAIR POETRY SERIES: Poets Jim Rana-Meadows, Doug Nathan and Jenny Coates read their work starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at the Poulsbohemian Coffeehouse, 19003 Front St. in Poulsbo. NAVY LEAGUE LUNCHEON: Capt. Will Lent, USN Ret., renowned for his personable and energetic programs on Naval History, is speaking on the Battle of Midway at the July 13 Bremerton Navy League Luncheon at the Bangor Plaza Ballroom. The luncheon is held in the Bangor Plaza Ballroom across from the base shopping center, next to the bowling alley. The pre-luncheon social starts at 11 a.m. The buffet luncheon starts at 11:45 a.m. and finishes after the guest speaker at 1 pm. Lunch is $15 per person and $12 for active duty military. PET LOSS SUPPORT GROUP: A pet loss support group, sponsored by PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap, has meetings facilitated by a licensed family counselor. Open to all ages, suggested donation is $5 to $10. The group will meet from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, and Thursday, Aug. 19 at St. Charles Anglican Church, 20295 Little Valley Road in Poulsbo. SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER: A fundraiser for the Kitsap Arts and Crafts Festival Scholarship Fund will be from 7:30-11:30 p.m. on Friday, July 16, at the Filling Station in Kingston. Open Blue will perform; a $5 cover charge will benefit the scholarship fund.

CLASS OF 1975: North Kitsap High School’s class of 1975 is planning a 35-year reunion July 24 in Suquamish. Festivities will be from 5-10 p.m. at the Clearwater Casino. ALZHEIMER’S CAREGIVERS’ SUPPORT GROUP: Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support groups provide a consistent and caring place for people to learn, share and gain emotional support from others who are also on a unique journey of providing care to a person with dementia. A free information and support group for care partners, family members and friends of individuals with dementia will be from 7-8:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at the Harrison Medical Center Annex, 750 Lebo Blvd., Bremerton.
