The second Annual Kingston Community Garage Sale, sponsored by the Downtown Kingston Association, runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 23. The event takes place in Kingston at local residences and businesses. Maps will be available beginning on Saturday, May 18, at the Kingston Chamber of Commerce, American Marine Bank, Windermere Real Estate, and John L. Scott offices. The deadline for participants to submit their address to be on the map is Wednesday, May 13. They can call Deb Boardman at (360) 731-9619 or e-mail deb@debboardman.com to give me their information. The registration fee is $15, payable to the DKA. Participants keep their proceeds. Last year we had 14 stops on the map, and this year we expect even more. It’s a neat opportunity to get out and meet people and say hi to your neighbors.
