Cottonwood Elementary PTSA is hosting its second annual Community Health Fair featuring 5210, which promotes the concept of healthy eating and active living to help combat and prevent obesity.

5210 is part of the “Let’s Move” initiative that was promoted by First Lady Michelle Obama.

5-2-1-0 stands for:

Five or more fruits and vegetables a day

Two hours of TV or electronic time a day

One hour or more of physical activity or exercise

Zero sugary drinks, more water and or low-fat milk

There will be various vendors from the community featuring and promoting one of the 5210 concepts along with various speakers, activities and door prizes.

The event is free and open to the public.
