County aims to keep spirits high with virtual scavenger hunt

In an attempt to keep spirits high as local residents continue to distance themselves from each other, amid the COVID-19 outbreak, the Kitsap County Public Works Department will be launching the Great Kitsap Virtual Scavenger Hunt on Friday, April 17 at 8 a.m.

Participants in the scavenger hunt will be given a series of “missions” each day of the hunt, which will see each team of participants answering trivia questions or taking pictures and videos of themselves doing their respective missions. According to the public works department, all of the activities included in the Great Kitsap Virtual Scavenger Hunt will adhere to social distancing guidelines and can be done from home, or in the neighborhood.

Teams of scavengers will have until the following Friday at 10 p.m. to execute their missions and the top-scoring 20 teams will be entered in a raffle to win one of seven gift cards.
