As concerns surrounding COVID-19 continue to rise, event organizers around Kitsap County are making the difficult decision to not meet in public, so as to prevent the spread of the virus.
Currently canceled events around Kitsap are:
- Veterans Memorial Dedication: March 14, Kitsap County Administration Building
- St. Patrick’s Day Parade: March 14, 6th and Pacific, Bremerton
- Olympic Property Group, Arborwood informational meeting: March 16, 24, Village Green Community Center (OPG will release a video update)
- Bainbridge Island Museum of Art: All programs and events postponed/canceled during March
- Peninsula Birth and Baby Expo: March 21, Marvin Williams Recreation Center (rescheduled for the fall)
- Fix-It Fair: April 19, Bainbridge Island Senior Center
- Fix-It Fair: April 25, Village Green Community Center
- North Kitsap School District: All events, after school activities and athletics
- Central Kitsap School District: All events, after school activities and athletics
