SILVERDALE – Two Bremerton men were injured in a two-vehicle car crash on State Route 3 near the Kitsap Mall exit Feb. 17.
A 57-year-old Bremerton man was driving a gray 1999 Toyota Camry sedan south on SR3 near the Kitsap Mall exit and had stopped for traffic.
A 22-year-old Bremerton man who was driving a 2013 Kia Soul SUV was behind him and was also headed south.
The 22-year-old was not paying attention and crashed into the Toyota around 3:50 p.m. according to the Washington State Patrol.
Both men were wearing seat belts and both were transported to Harrison Medical Center.
Both vehicles were totaled.
The crashed caused traffic to become backed up.
The cause of the crash is driver inattention. The 22-year-old would be charged with negligent driving according to the WSP.
