PORT ORCHARD – The Washington State Patrol is seeking the public’s help in gathering information related to the death of a 64 year-old female pedestrian on Victory Drive in Port Orchard.

On Oct. 14, at approximately 12:55 p.m., Chris Lukkasson was found lying unconscious in the roadway in the 4800 block of Victory Drive SW in Port Orchard. She was unresponsive when aid crews arrived and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center where she died the following day. Lukkasson sustained trauma to her head and torso leading detectives to believe she may have been struck by a vehicle. Evidence was collected from the scene and the victim’s clothing and is currently being analyzed at the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab.
